UBE2V1 pseudogene 14 (UBE2V1P14) is a genomic locus annotated as a pseudogene on chromosome 20. It shares sequence similarity with the protein-coding UBE2V1 gene, but it contains mutations—such as stop codons or frameshifts—that prevent expression of a functional protein[5]. Pseudogenes like UBE2V1P14 are usually remnants of gene duplication or retrotransposition events and generally lack known biological or disease functions. UBE2V1P14 is not a receptor, enzyme, transporter, transcription factor, or any other recognized drug target.
