**Ubiquilin 1 pseudogene 1 (UBQLN1P1)** is a human gene classified as a pseudogene. Pseudogenes are generally non-functional genomic DNA sequences similar to normal genes but are typically not transcribed into functional proteins. UBQLN1P1 is not known to encode a functional protein, nor is it recognized as a molecular target in therapeutic development or human disease. Instead, the protein-coding gene UBQLN1 encodes ubiquilin-1, which is involved in protein quality control and has been studied in the context of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease[1][3][5]. However, the pseudogene UBQLN1P1 itself is not recognized as a receptor, enzyme, transporter, or similar druggable biomolecule, and there is no evidence supporting its use as a therapeutic or biomarker target. Therefore, UBQLN1P1 is not a valid target molecule for drug development or biological modulation.
