Ubiquinol-cytochrome c reductase hinge protein like (UQCRHL) is a gene closely related to the true ubiquinol-cytochrome c reductase hinge protein (UQCRH), and encodes a protein with high sequence similarity to UQCRH. UQCRHL is sometimes categorized as a pseudogene because it appears to be derived from UQCRH, but it retains an open reading frame and may encode a protein of similar size and function as UQCRH.
