UDP glucuronosyltransferase 2 family, polypeptide B15 pseudogene is a non-functional DNA segment homologous to the UGT2B15 gene, which encodes an enzyme involved in the glucuronidation and inactivation of xenobiotics and endogenous compounds. The pseudogene is located in a gene cluster on chromosome 4 that contains both active genes and non-functional pseudogenes. There is no evidence that this pseudogene encodes a functional protein or is directly associated with any therapeutic applications, biological functions, or disease roles.
