Target intelligence / Profile preview
Ultrasound signal enhancement via microbubble reflection utilizes gas-filled microbubbles as contrast agents in ultrasound imaging. These microbubbles resonate strongly when exposed to an ultrasound field, producing echoes much stronger than surrounding tissues. This effect improves visualization of blood flow, vascular structures, and targeted disease sites, and can facilitate therapeutic applications like drug delivery.
Resonant oscillation and nonlinear reflection of ultrasound waves by gas-filled microbubbles, leading to enhanced signal intensity and harmonic generation.
