Overview

Ultraviolet AII (UVA-II) radiation is a sub-band within the ultraviolet (UV) spectrum, with wavelengths ranging from approximately 320 to 340 nanometers. It penetrates deeply into the skin, contributing to photoaging and indirectly damaging DNA through the generation of reactive oxygen species. UVA-II exposure is associated with an increased risk of skin cancer and immunosuppression.
