Undisclosed third target

The "Undisclosed third target" refers to the molecular target of the PRX019 (BMS-986495) program, which is part of a strategic collaboration between Prothena Corporation and Bristol Myers Squibb (originally established with Celgene in 2018) [2, 8]. This target is one of three proteins identified in the collaboration as being implicated in the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases, alongside Tau and TDP-43 [3, 4]. While the specific identity of the protein remains proprietary and has not been publicly disclosed by the companies, it is targeted by PRX019, a monoclonal antibody designed to address protein dysregulation [11, 17]. The program received Investigational New Drug (IND) clearance from the FDA in December 2023 and entered Phase 1 clinical trials in 2024 [16, 22].
