Overview

Additionally, the extracellular extravascular space is a focal point in medical imaging, where the distribution of contrast agents helps clinicians visualize vascular integrity and tumor microenvironments. Because it lacks a specific molecular structure, it is considered a physiological compartment rather than a conventional pharmacological target.
