Vascular endothelial growth factor A mRNA (VEGF-A mRNA) is the mature messenger RNA transcript produced from the VEGFA gene, coding for the protein VEGF-A. This mRNA is pivotal in the regulation of angiogenesis, vascular permeability, and cell survival by facilitating translation of VEGF-A protein, a critical regulator of endothelial cell function and blood vessel formation.
