Vascular endothelial growth factor receptors 1, 2, and 3 (VEGFR1, VEGFR2, VEGFR3) are a family of receptor tyrosine kinases that play central roles in the regulation of angiogenesis (formation of blood vessels), lymphangiogenesis (formation of lymphatic vessels), and vascular permeability. These receptors are activated by members of the VEGF ligand family and are key targets in cancer therapy due to their involvement in tumor vascularization.
