Target intelligence / Profile preview
Vesicle transport through interaction with t-SNAREs 1B pseudogene 2 (VTI1BP2) is a pseudogene related to the VTI1B gene family, which encodes proteins involved in vesicular trafficking. Unlike its paralogs VTI1B and VTI1A, which encode v-SNARE proteins with established roles in membrane fusion and intracellular transport, VTI1BP2 does not encode a functional protein and is not associated with any biological process or disease pathway. As a pseudogene, it is considered nonfunctional and is not a recognized therapeutic target.
