Viral RNA Synthesis Enzyme Complex (RdRp)

The viral RNA synthesis enzyme complex, commonly referred to as the viral RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp), is a multi-protein complex essential for the replication and transcription of viral RNA genomes. This enzyme catalyzes the synthesis of new RNA strands using an existing RNA template, a process fundamental to the life cycle of many viruses, including coronaviruses, influenza viruses, and arteriviruses.
