Target intelligence / Profile preview
Vomeronasal 1 receptor 82 pseudogene (VN1R82P) is a human genomic sequence formally classified as a pseudogene belonging to the vomeronasal receptor family. While vomeronasal receptors encode G protein-coupled receptors responsible for pheromone detection in other species, in humans VN1R82P does not encode a functional protein and is not known to be biologically active or therapeutically relevant.
Not applicable, as there are no drugs targeting this nonfunctional pseudogene
