Target intelligence / Profile preview
Vomeronasal 1 receptor 95 pseudogene (VN1R95P) is a human processed pseudogene belonging to the vomeronasal 1 receptor family. Vomeronasal receptors form part of a group of G protein-coupled receptors mediating pheromone responses in the vomeronasal organ in other mammals. However, in humans, multiple members, including VN1R95P, are classified as non-functional pseudogenes; they are present in the genome but do not encode active proteins or have known biological function or disease links
