VPS25 pseudogene 1 (VPS25P1) is a pseudogene found on human chromosome 1, derived from the protein-coding gene VPS25[3]. Pseudogenes are typically non-functional segments of DNA that resemble functional genes but are generally not transcribed into functional proteins.
