WD repeat domain-containing protein 76 (WDR76) is a member of the WD40 repeat domain family, characterized by a multi-bladed beta-propeller structure enabling numerous protein-protein interactions. WDR76 plays a role in essential cellular processes such as DNA damage response and repair, apoptosis, cell cycle progression, and regulation of gene expression. It specifically binds 5-hydroxymethylcytosine, suggesting a function in epigenetic regulation.
