WW domain binding protein 1-like pseudogene 2 (WBP1LP2) is a non-functional DNA sequence similar to the WBP1L gene, which encodes a transmembrane adaptor protein involved in hematopoiesis and the regulation of CXCR4 signaling[1][2][4][5]. Unlike the protein-coding WBP1L gene, WBP1LP2 does not encode a functional protein and is therefore not implicated in disease processes or therapeutic strategies.
