YTHDF3 pseudogene 1 (YTHDF3P1) is a genomic sequence closely related to the protein-coding YTHDF3 gene but incapable of producing a functional protein product. Unlike the functional YTHDF3 gene, which encodes an RNA-binding protein involved in m6A RNA modification and regulation, YTHDF3P1 does not encode a receptor, enzyme, transporter, or other druggable target[4]. Pseudogenes generally arise from gene duplication or retrotransposition events and often lack transcriptional activity, regulatory function, or protein-coding potential. There is no evidence or published information supporting YTHDF3P1 as a therapeutic target, biomarker, or participant in biological or disease processes, nor is there evidence of drug interaction or relevant mechanism of action.
