Target intelligence / Profile preview
YWHAQ pseudogene 10 (YWHAQP10) is a non-coding genomic DNA sequence related to the functional YWHAQ gene, which encodes the 14-3-3 protein theta[1]. As a pseudogene, YWHAQP10 does not encode a functional protein due to accumulated mutations or missing regulatory elements, and thus lacks direct cellular functions[1][3][9]. While some pseudogenes can affect gene expression by acting as sources of regulatory RNAs or as miRNA decoys, there is currently no evidence that YWHAQP10 serves such roles[5]. YWHAQP10 is not considered a therapeutic target, and there is no information linking it to diseases, drug interactions, or clinical biomarkers.
