Zinc and ring finger 2 pseudogene 2 (ZNRF2P2) is a pseudogene located in the human genome. Pseudogenes are gene sequences that resemble known genes but do not encode a functional protein. There is no experimental evidence for its involvement in biological processes or diseases, nor does it have therapeutic relevance. All functional and therapeutic data in the literature relate to the parent gene, ZNRF2 (Zinc and ring finger 2), which is an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase with roles in cellular signaling and cancer[2]. ZNRF2P2, however, is an inactive pseudogene and should not be considered a therapeutic target. Note: Queries regarding effects, drug interactions, or functions should be directed toward the protein-coding gene ZNRF2, not ZNRF2P2.
