Zinc finger and BTB domain-containing protein 41 (ZBTB41) is a nuclear transcription factor with both zinc finger and BTB/POZ domains, believed to mediate the regulation of gene transcription, likely via sequence-specific DNA binding and protein-protein interactions. The BTB domain is conserved and crucial for chromatin remodeling, protein degradation, and cytoskeletal regulation. ZBTB41 participates in the regulation of cell growth, differentiation, and development and appears strongly implicated in tumor cell proliferation and migration, particularly in cervical and liver cancers. Its activity is interconnected with the p53 signaling pathway and it forms functional complexes with proteins such as TAF1A.
