Zinc finger protein 134 (ZNF134) is a member of the zinc finger protein family, which is characterized by the presence of zinc finger motifs that enable sequence-specific DNA binding, typically conferring transcription factor function. ZNF134 is believed to function as a transcriptional repressor, particularly acting on RNA polymerase II-dependent genes, and may play a role in the regulation of cytokine production and immune system processes. It is broadly expressed in the nucleus. ZNF134 is not currently characterized as a direct therapeutic target, biomarker, or known to have direct drug interactions[2][3][6][7].
