Zinc finger protein 134 pseudogene is a non-coding, non-functional genomic sequence related to the zinc finger protein family, specifically to ZNF134. Pseudogenes arise from duplication or retrotransposition of functional genes but accumulate mutations that render them unable to produce active protein. This pseudogene does not encode a zinc finger protein and is not implicated in gene regulation, disease, or as a therapeutic target.
