Zinc finger protein 155 (ZNF155)

Target
ZNF155
Molecular classification
Transcription factor, C2H2-type zinc finger protein, KRAB domain-containing protein
01

Overview

Zinc finger protein 155 (ZNF155) is a member of the C2H2-type zinc-finger transcription factor family and contains a KRAB (Krüppel-associated box) domain[4]. ZNF155 is predicted to function in transcriptional regulation by binding DNA, but its precise biological roles and direct disease associations remain uncharacterized. Like other zinc finger proteins, it likely participates in fundamental cellular mechanisms by modulating gene expression[1][2][4][5][6]. There is currently no evidence that ZNF155 itself serves as a therapeutic target or is directly implicated in human diseases, although the broader ZNF protein family is important in genome stability, transcription, and cancer[1][3][4].
