Zinc finger protein 180 (ZNF180) is a member of the zinc finger protein family with a conserved motif that coordinates zinc ions via cysteine and histidine residues. These domains enable it to bind nucleic acids and regulate transcription, suggesting a role as a DNA-binding transcription factor.
