Zinc finger protein 311 (ZNF311) is a human protein encoded by the ZNF311 gene, located on chromosome 6. It is predicted to function as a DNA-binding transcription factor, involved in the regulation of gene expression by RNA polymerase II, through sequence-specific DNA binding in cis-regulatory regions. There is evidence suggesting a potential role as a prognostic biomarker in glioma, but direct links to therapeutic targeting or specific drugs have not been established.
