Zinc finger protein 333 (ZNF333) is a human transcription factor containing a rare dual KRAB-domain arrangement and ten zinc finger domains, predominantly localized in the nucleus[1][3]. It is part of the Kruppel-like zinc finger protein family, binds DNA at specific core sequences, and acts as a transcriptional repressor, likely involved in the regulation of gene expression by RNA polymerase II[1][2][3][6]. To date, no drugs are known to target this molecule, and it is not considered a canonical therapeutic target. ZNF333 has been studied in the context of gene regulation and is associated with certain non-malignant diseases, such as bile reflux, but no clear links to major therapeutic disease areas or drug interactions have been established[2].
