Zinc finger protein 33B (ZNF33B)

Target
ZNF33B
Molecular classification
Transcription factor, Zinc finger protein
01

Overview

Zinc finger protein 33B is a member of the C2H2-type zinc finger protein family, potentially involved in transcriptional regulation through DNA binding and nucleic acid binding. The ZNF33B gene is found in a gene cluster in the pericentromeric region of human chromosome 10 and is broadly expressed, though its precise physiological roles remain poorly characterized. Decreased expression has been observed in cumulus cells derived from patients undergoing controlled ovarian stimulation. There are no well-established associations with disease, drug interactions, or biomarker uses, nor is it considered a canonical therapeutic target[1][2][3][5][7][8].
