Zinc finger protein 343 (ZNF343) is a human protein encoded by the ZNF343 gene and belongs to the large family of C2H2-type zinc finger transcription factors[3][4][5][11]. It contains characteristic C2H2 zinc finger motifs and is predicted to function in sequence-specific double-stranded DNA binding with a role in regulating transcription by RNA polymerase II within the nucleus[2][3][7][9]. Like other zinc finger proteins, it may be involved in a range of cellular processes by influencing gene expression, but there is no current evidence supporting its use as a direct therapeutic target or established disease biomarker[1][4][9].
