Zinc finger protein 345 (ZNF345)

Target
ZNF345
Molecular classification
Transcription factor
01

Overview

Zinc finger protein 345 (ZNF345) is a human protein-coding gene that encodes a member of the zinc finger transcription factor family; it has sequence-specific double-stranded DNA binding activity and is predicted to regulate gene expression by RNA polymerase II, potentially acting within the nucleus[1][9][13][4]. While ZNF345 is associated with regulation of transcription, there is no evidence that it functions as a therapeutic target or is currently targeted by drugs[1][9][11][13]. There is a reported linkage to Branchiooculofacial syndrome, but no established role as a biomarker or established safety concerns in therapeutic contexts[1].
