Zinc finger protein 362 (ZNF362)

Target
ZNF362
Molecular classification
Transcription factor, C2H2 zinc finger protein
01

Overview

Zinc finger protein 362 (ZNF362) is a protein-coding gene that encodes a predicted DNA-binding transcription factor, primarily enabling sequence-specific binding to cis-regulatory regions targeted by RNA polymerase II[1][2]. ZNF362 acts within the nucleus and is involved in the regulation of gene transcription. Disease associations include various forms of acute leukemia, and gene fusions involving ZNF362 have been observed in the context of B cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia[1][4]. It belongs to the large family of C2H2 zinc finger transcription factors, but there is currently no evidence that ZNF362 is a direct therapeutic target or has clinically significant drug interactions[1][2][5][6].
