Zinc finger protein 415 (ZNF415) is a protein-coding gene encoding a member of the zinc finger family, which functions as a sequence-specific DNA-binding transcription factor involved in the regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. ZNF415 localizes to the fibrillar center and microtubule cytoskeleton and is predicted to suppress the transcriptional activity of AP-1 and p53/TP53 in most isoforms. Its role in cancer has been studied in terms of expression patterns but it is not currently an established therapeutic target or receptor[1][5][7].
