Zinc finger protein 439 (ZNF439)

Target
ZNF439
Molecular classification
Transcription factor, Zinc finger protein, Krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger family member
01

Overview

Zinc finger protein 439 (ZNF439) is a predicted DNA-binding transcription factor active in the nucleus of human cells, primarily involved in regulating transcription by RNA polymerase II. It contains multiple C2H2-type zinc finger domains, characteristic of this large family of gene regulators. Although ZNF439 is widely expressed in diverse tissues and is included in essential gene and protein annotation resources, its specific biological and pathophysiological roles remain poorly characterized, and there is currently no data supporting its use as a drug target, disease biomarker, or subject of therapeutic modulation[1][2][3][4][7][9].
