Zinc finger protein 473 (ZNF473) is a zinc finger transcription factor involved in the processing of histone 3'-end pre-mRNA, primarily through association with U7 small nuclear ribonucleoprotein (U7 snRNP) and interaction with the SLBP/pre-mRNA complex in the nucleus[1][4][5][6]. It plays a key molecular function in nucleic acid and protein binding, regulating histone mRNA maturation but is not currently recognized as a therapeutic target.
