Target intelligence / Profile preview
Zinc finger protein 547 pseudogene (ZNF547P, LOC100631243) is a non-coding sequence homologous to the zinc finger protein 547 gene. It is annotated in the human genome as a pseudogene, meaning it does not produce a functional protein. Zinc finger proteins, in general, are DNA-binding proteins involved in transcriptional regulation and many cellular functions. However, as a pseudogene, ZNF547P has no known biological function, is not involved in disease mechanisms, and is not considered a valid drug target.
