Zinc finger protein 585B (ZNF585B)

Target
ZNF585B
Molecular classification
Transcription factor, Zinc finger protein
01

Overview

Zinc finger protein 585B is a protein encoded by the ZNF585B gene in humans. It is predicted to function as a DNA-binding transcription activator with specificity for RNA polymerase II-regulated gene expression. ZNF585B belongs to the large family of C2H2-type zinc finger proteins, which are characterized by their zinc finger motifs that mediate interactions with DNA. These proteins play critical roles in transcriptional regulation by modulating gene expression, cell differentiation, and other essential biological processes. There is currently no evidence that ZNF585B is a therapeutic target or has established roles in specific diseases, nor are there known interacting drugs or use as a clinical biomarker[1][3][4][5].
