Zinc finger protein 662 is a member of the C2H2-type zinc finger protein family and functions as a DNA-binding transcription factor predicted to regulate transcription via RNA polymerase II. The protein is encoded by the ZNF662 gene in humans and is primarily localized to the nucleus, where it likely participates in modulating the expression of specific genetic elements. Although zinc finger proteins, in general, are associated with diverse cellular processes such as DNA recognition, transcriptional activation, and regulation of apoptosis, there is currently no evidence that ZNF662 itself is a recognized therapeutic target or directly linked to specific diseases or interacting drugs[2][4][7][8][1].
