Target intelligence / Profile preview

Zinc finger protein 710 (ZNF710)

Target
ZNF710
Molecular classification
Transcription factor, Zinc finger protein
01

Overview

Zinc finger protein 710 is a member of the zinc finger family of transcription factors characterized by the presence of C2H2-type zinc finger motifs, which enable DNA binding. It is predicted to regulate gene expression by binding to cis-regulatory regions of DNA and acting as a transcriptional regulator, likely in association with RNA polymerase II. ZNF710 is expressed in a variety of tissues and may play a role in diverse cellular processes due to its involvement in gene regulation. No current evidence supports its designation as a conventional therapeutic target such as receptor, enzyme, or transporter, nor has it been directly associated with disease or drug interactions.
