Zinc finger protein 736 pseudogene 6, Y-linked (ZNF736P6Y) is a non-protein coding pseudogene mapped to the human Y chromosome; it is part of the larger zinc finger protein gene family, which often encodes transcription factors, but this locus does not produce a functional protein[2][3]. Pseudogenes, including ZNF736P6Y, arise from duplication or retrotransposition events and typically lack normal gene function. ZNF736P6Y does not appear in clinical or pharmacological databases as a molecular target, and there is no evidence of involvement in disease, drug interaction, or any functional biological process.
