ZNF780A belongs to the C2H2-type zinc finger protein family, the largest class of transcription factors in the human genome, characterized by the presence of zinc finger motifs that stabilize their structure and mediate interactions with DNA[4][1][3]. While ZNF780A is associated with the regulation of transcription and is primarily localized in the nucleus, there are currently no direct reports of it being a therapeutic drug target, nor are there well-documented roles in major diseases such as cancer, inflammation, or neurodegeneration[5][7].
