Zinc finger protein 784 is a human protein encoded by the ZNF784 gene, located on chromosome 19. It contains zinc finger domains, which are structural motifs facilitating sequence-specific DNA binding, typically involved in the regulation of gene transcription through interaction with RNA polymerase II. Zinc finger proteins are a highly diverse family implicated in DNA recognition, transcriptional activation, and protein binding, but the precise biological function and disease relevance of ZNF784 itself remain largely uncharacterized.
