Zinc finger protein 807, pseudogene (ZNF807P) is a non-protein-coding gene (pseudogene) found in the human genome. ZNF807P has aliases ZNF181P1 and ZNF807. Unlike functional zinc finger proteins, which act as transcription factors or participate in various regulatory cellular functions, ZNF807P does not encode a functional protein and is not involved in molecular pathways, biological function, disease associations, or drug interactions. As a pseudogene, it may be considered part of the evolutionary vestiges of gene duplication events, but lacks biological activity relevant to molecular targeting or therapy.
