Zinc finger protein 82 homolog (ZFP82) is a C2H2-type zinc finger protein acting as a DNA-binding transcription factor, predicted to regulate transcription via RNA polymerase II. It is part of the largest family of human transcription factors involved in various cellular processes, particularly gene expression regulation. While members of this family have roles in cell differentiation, apoptosis, metabolism, and tumorigenesis, there is no direct evidence that ZFP82 itself is a therapeutic target, nor are there known drugs that modulate it specifically.
