Target intelligence / Profile preview
Zinc ribbon domain-containing protein 2 (ZNRD2) is a small antigenic protein that may play a role in mitosis and has been proposed as a centromere-associated protein. It is recognized by a subset of anti-centromere antibodies from patients with scleroderma and/or Sjögren’s syndrome but its subcellular localization and precise biological function remain unclear. It is also associated with the disease otosclerosis, but is not established as a drug target or receptor.
