ZMYND10 antisense RNA 1 (ZMYND10-AS1) is a long non-coding RNA gene in humans, transcribed from the opposite strand of the ZMYND10 locus[2][6]. Unlike the protein-coding ZMYND10 gene, which encodes a co-chaperone protein involved in cilia formation and is implicated in primary ciliary dyskinesia, ZMYND10-AS1 produces a non-coding RNA that is not translated into protein.
