Overview
ZNF132 divergent transcript (ZNF132-DT) is a long non-coding RNA gene situated in proximity to the ZNF132 protein-coding gene; it is transcribed in the direction opposite to ZNF132 from a shared promoter region. Such lncRNAs, known as divergent transcripts, are often involved in the regulation of the expression of neighboring protein-coding genes and may play roles in chromatin organization or transcriptional control[2][5]. There are currently no drugs, biomarkers, or established clinical utility associated with ZNF132-DT, and it is not recognized as a protein, enzyme, or canonical therapeutic target.
