ZNF519 antisense RNA 1 (ZNF519-AS1) is an antisense long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) transcribed from the opposite DNA strand of the ZNF519 gene. Antisense lncRNAs like ZNF519-AS1 are non-protein coding transcripts that modulate gene expression, often through direct interaction with their sense gene, recruitment of chromatin-modifying enzymes, or changes in mRNA stability.
