Target intelligence / Profile preview
ZNF8 divergent transcript (ZNF8-DT) is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) locus found on chromosome 19 in humans, named for its genomic divergence from the adjacent ZNF8 gene. Unlike the protein product ZNF8, ZNF8-DT is non-coding and, according to expression data, may have specific regulatory roles, although no clear molecular function, disease association, or drug interaction has been established[4][5][7]. There is no evidence that this transcript acts as a therapeutic target, nor is there information suggesting direct involvement in disease or responsiveness to pharmacological agents[4][7][6].
