Target intelligence / Profile preview
ZNF84 divergent transcript (ZNF84-DT) is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) gene located adjacent to the ZNF84 gene. Divergent lncRNAs are typically defined as transcripts initiated within several hundred nucleotides of a protein-coding gene and transcribed in the opposite direction[8]. ZNF84-DT does not encode a protein and is not a therapeutic target or receptor. Its functional role is not well characterized and there is no evidence linking it to disease or drug response[7][8].
