Phase 4, randomised, double-blind trial in postmenopausal osteoporosis comparing Bonviva monthly oral ibandronate with Placebo (2 arms). Primary endpoints: Change in fraction of bone volume per total sample volume at the distal tibia and Change in trabecular bone separation at the distal tibia. Started Sep 2005; status: completed.
